About me

My work combines a background in graphic design with technology and user-centered design thinking. My UX process begins with sketching as a way of stepping back from the computer to focus on the experience and user goals. I'm able to execute all phases of the UX process, from concepting and information architecture to wireframing and prototyping. A champion for best practices, web standards compliance and accessibility, I understand and advise cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle of a project to deliver the highest standard in user experiences.

Currently working on the TELUS design system for TELUS Digital, I support the organization build products quickly and easily by improving the design system's tools and processes through collaboration and communication. I continue to express my passion for design systems as the Social Media Manager for the Design Systems Community, a group helping to bring people together to share ways of working, successes, and other learnings to encourage best practices in building, scaling and maintaining design systems.

Previously, I worked for Scotiabank in cross-functional teams to deliver award winning, world class customer integrated web and mobile banking. My favourite experience was getting to lead and collaborate on the Digital Channels living style guide.

My experience includes travelling abroad to work for Flight Centre HQ in Brisbane, Australia on multiple brands. And designing for a small design agency on a variety of print, web, and event projects.
